About Ladki Bahin Yojana 3.0
The Ladki Bahin Yojana 3.0 was introduced by Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Ajit Pawar in the previous state budget. The main objective of this scheme is to financially empower women from low-income families by providing them with a monthly allowance.
The Maharashtra government initially started the application process in two phases:
- First Phase: 1st July 2024 to 30th September 2024
- Second Phase: 30th September 2024 to 15th October 2024
- During these phases, around 3 crore women successfully applied. However, due to technical issues and application errors, many applications were rejected.
- Additionally, several women missed out due to a lack of awareness. To address this issue, the government has relaunched the registration process.
Furthermore, the government has announced that the monthly aid will be increased to ₹2,100 soon, ensuring better financial stability for women.
